Temitope Adebayo Children Foundation Empowers New LASU Students with Free Gas Cylinders

In a continued effort to support young people and promote self-reliance among students, the Temitope Adebayo Children Foundation (TACF) has distributed free 3kg gas cylinders to new intakes of Lagos State University (LASU).

The initiative, which took place on campus earlier this week, is part of the foundation’s broader vision to uplift and empower students from less privileged backgrounds. According to the founder, Afusat Temitope Adebayo, the gesture was aimed at easing the financial burden on students as they begin their academic journey.

“Many new students face several challenges when settling into school life, including the cost of basic needs,” Adebayo said. “This is our way of supporting them and ensuring they can focus more on their education.”

The distribution exercise drew excitement from the beneficiaries, many of whom expressed gratitude to the foundation for the thoughtful intervention.

Since its establishment, Temitope Adebayo Children Foundation has been dedicated to improving access to education, providing learning materials, and supporting children and youths from less privileged homes. The foundation’s outreach continues to expand, reflecting its slogan, “Education for All, Hope for Tomorrow.”
