Wema Bank is taking its SME empowerment initiative beyond Nigeria with the launch of the NBC Trade Fair in Ghana. The two-day event will be held on October 4–5, 2025 at The Palms Convention Center, Accra.
The fair will feature vendors in fashion, food, skincare, and lifestyle, giving small businesses a platform to showcase products, reach new customers, and network.
Alongside the exhibition, Wema Bank will provide services such as free BVN registration, paid NIN registration, on-site account opening, and instant virtual naira and dollar cards. Attendees will also enjoy giveaways, gift items, and access to the SARA community for women.
Customers who use their Wema Bank debit cards at the fair stand a chance to win rewards, while new customers can open accounts through the ALAT app for added benefits.
Wema Bank said the fair is part of its wider effort to support women-led businesses, encourage financial inclusion, and strengthen trade across Africa.
