The 2024 Nigeria Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) CEO’s Retreat, held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State from June 13-15, 2024, was graced by the presence of the Deputy Commissioner for Insurance, Mr Ekerete Olawoye Gam-Ikon, representing the Commissioner, Mr. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin.
The retreat, themed “Building Institutions That Survive Their Promoters,” brought together industry leaders and experts to discuss the importance of creating lasting legacies in the insurance sector.
In his goodwill message, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the relevance of building enduring institutions in today’s rapidly changing world.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted NAICOM’s commitment to creating lasting legacies through robust governance, innovation, and ethical practices.
He also acknowledged the crucial role insurance brokers play in promoting stability and security, and urged them to collaborate and learn from each other to ensure the institutions built today will thrive for generations to come.
